They called us; when we look online we find LOTS of job ads with descriptions about representing fortune 500 companies, marketing and lead generations; and there was a twitter about a scam but the account was suspended so we cant actually read the tweet. All in all, shady. But jobs don’t come easy and we don’t want to rule out a opportunity just because its a start-up without a lot of background. If anyone actually knows something about this company please post here. P.S we already checked with BBB, since we don’t know where the company is based from its not much help and all listed results were around B- ratings.

The only legitimate job I had was working at starbucks as a barista and the rest were small under-the-table jobs (Should I not include these on my resume?). The pay is .50.
Do they hire young people with no experience?
Even though I am "mature" and I believe that I hold myself very well I look very young (Most people think I’m a high school freshman…)
If they are not willing to hire a young person like me with no experience I don’t want to waste my time and drive all the way over there to get rejected.

Thoughts please?

Oh dear, I have absolutely no knowledge in these areas.

A year ago a person in my home town told me that if I built a turn key system for lead generation, that we could pull in 400 leads a month, and roughly make at least ,500 a month if not more. I spent 9 months building a turn key system, fixing every bug asked to fix, and implementing every feature asked to implement. 7 months ago momentum started to slow, almost coming to a halt.

I have attempted to correspond with this person via phone & e-mail, and no go. He is a 9 year salesman for one of the biggest timeshare companies in North America. The potential monies I’m going to lose is in the hundreds of thousands, as well as I have k of my own time & money invested here.

Do I have any legal rights with 9 months worth of e-mail, and no real contract? I would love to at least get my k after legal fees but I’d also like to be compensated for all the unnecessary stress this has caused over the last year. Perhaps even sue for the financial loss over time.

Perhaps I didn’t word this correctly. I realize that there were no monies promised, but I was told that they would have people to call the leads and turn them around, and I was also told they would look at the leads daily, and manage them, closing them out, and paying them out after the tour was taken. These are the part I want to sue over. They made statements to the affect that we were a team, I’ve done my part, and now they’re failing to do theirs.

On these to issues, I have many e-mails articulating what parts each party would play, and to the extent they would play them.
