How to generate more sales leads

One of the things many people make mistakes with is the idea that your online lead generation efforts are only for leads that are doing searches online.  Of course, that is the main goal.  But your online lead generation funnel is waiting for people to enter it regardless of how they found it.

So if you build a great online lead generation engine and have a great offer – something like “Sign up for our free video course…” then you have a great tool for getting off line leads to opt into your online lead funnel.

For example, if I am at an event I will give people a separate card that tells them where to go to get their free video course on a topic.  The people that are interested in that topic are going to go do it when they are going through the business cards they collected the next day.  The ones that are not interested in your topic will not.

Now you have a group of people that you met at an event that you know are your hotest leads.  They are actively interested in the topic.

Since you probably have their business card as well, then you know their phone number – even if they did not put it into the online form.  So following up with the lead (after they have had time to see your free product is easy.

Online Lead + Offline Lead = Hot Lead
