In today’s market place, you need to be aware that almost 10% of people are unemployed and looking for a job.
So how can you sell your product or service to the unemployed?
To begin with, maybe you should not. But if your product will help someone that is out of a job, you need to appeal to what they need and how your product will help them.
For example, if I were selling men’s clothing I would talk about how clothing can increase your chances of getting a job when you go in for an interview.
If I am selling education, I play up the fact that employers like to hire life long learners.
If I am selling Internet Marketing products, I tap into the dream of working for yourself and never depending on someone else for a paycheck again.
So if you have a product that can be sold to the unemployed, just think about it from their point of view. They are careful with their money and need to make good decisions – if your product or service can help them, then you can still create sales with this group.
