How to generate more sales leads

Real Time Lead Generation is when someone becomes a lead the moment they come into contact with you and your company.  I personally thing that anyone that visits your website is a real time lead.  Think about it – they are there and actively investigating you.  The question is, how do you engage them immediately?

1. Consider using one of those live assistance scripts that allows you to begin chatting with someone the moment that they arrivle on your website.  When you engage with someone, be sure to offer them a discount code that is only good for the day.  Mosso did a wonderful job of that with me.

2. Free Download – By letting a website visitor enter their email and phone number to get a free download, you can choose to have them go into a longer term sales process or follow up seconds after the lead is generated.

3. Be prepared at all times – You never know when you are going to run into someone out shopping or at a kids soccer game.  Make sure you are always prepared for an unexpected lead to fall in your lap.

4. 3 Way Call – When someone offers to refer someone else to you, try to immediately get on a three way call to get the introduction.  By acting quickly, you will generate a real time lead and have less of a chance of the referral getting forgotten.

5.  Social Media  -Watch the social media sites of your choice where people might be talking about problems they are having.  If your company is a good solution, be sure to follow up with someone right after they post the problem.  This is great real time lead generation.
