for some people it feels harder to lead people who are in different generation with you, especially when they are older than you. im making a mini thesis in this field. my title is how to lead older people. i wanna know how you (superior or boss) who have a followers or workers that is older than you. how to lead them, without feeling not respected to them.

When I was 20 I had a lot of people in their 40′s working for me.
Now that I am 60 and semi retired I have a boss about 30.
The answer is simple. Respect. Treat others with respect and you will have no issues.
Most people go to work to make money. I was amanager for 35 years. It is much easier to let someone else manage the mess. Be smart if you have older workers you have wisdom. Don’t hesitate to use it.
I had a man about 50 tell me when I was 30 that when you get 45 or so you get sick of BS. And that it repeats itself. When I was 45 I realize he was right.
