How to generate more sales leads

You would think that generating furnace leads would be easy in the Winter.  You have furnace repair, furnace cleaning and new furnace purchases – so there are a lot of furnace related requests going on every day.

And if you get a furnace lead that says “We have no heat, how quickly can you come out and take a look?” you know that you have a hot lead that is less worried about shopping around and more interested in fast service.

There is no better way to acquire a life long customer than when you save the day by getting the heat back on quickly.

But how do they find you in the first place?

Your website should have clear, local words that help local searchers find you.  This means you have to think like a customer that just realized the furnace blower is blowing, but the air is cold.  They sit down at the computer and start searching on what?

heating company chicago?

You get the idea.  While these kinds of searches seem obvious, unless you target your website to rank high for these kinds of keywords, you are missing out on this kind of business.  Someone is ranked well, and they are getting the majority of the furnace leads that are coming in on the Internet.
